Continental Auto Mall

From May 2000 through August 2001 I was employed by Continental Auto Mall in Joplin, Missouri, where I was the Executive Administrator. My responsibilities included: overseeing 7 department heads on the daily operations of the dealership; system administrator for the ADP mainframe and AS400 mainframe; computer upgrades, maintenance and training; process and record car deals into accounting, including auditing reconditioning on vehicles; NVDR's on sales of new Chrysler, Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Mitsubishi sales; request factory rebates on Chrysler and Hyundai sales; floor plan payoff and request; process used car purchases and enter into inventory; process daily ACH and EFT transactions including payments from lending institutions; reconcile and audit finance reserve statements; process dealer trades, including cutting checks and processing MCO's for transfer; monthly transmittal of warranty, credit life, gap insurance and etch contracts and cancellations; assistance in training of other staff employees when needed; open safes and assure they are locked daily; assist in the completion and transmitting of financial statements monthly; oversaw the sale of the Toyota, Volkswagen and Porsche franchises and the audit of the previous purchase of same franchises; and cash management. I would say my greatest accomplishments while employed would be: restructure of the finance department, built communication link between departments and implemented security and tracking system for all departments. My reason for leaving was because I moved to California.
