From February 2002 through May 2003 I was employed by Clare Chapman Storey and Bowen, LLP in San Francisco, California where I was the Internal Firm Accountant. My responsibilities included: supervision and training of administrative staff; monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; system administrator for Unilink TB*32, Creative Solutions Practice Management, QuickBooks and Intacct systems; monthly billing, which included verification of staff time entry, entering expenses into billing system, printing billing worksheets and distributing to partners and managers, creating bills in system and sending out to clients; accounts receivable, which included processing of payments, sending out statements, collection of past due accounts and reconciliation and audit of each clients accounts; accounts payable, which included coding, entering and payment of bills; internal audit of asset, liability, income and expense accounts; audit the merger of two other firms with ours; reorganization of office. I would say my greatest accomplishments while employed would be: installation of new phone system; reorganization of office; collection of old past due accounts; and accelerated monthly billings to the 10th of each month. My reason for leaving was because I moved to Arizona.
