From October 1995 through July 1999 I was employed by Pioneer Ford Sales in Phoenix, AZ, where I started out as New Car Billing Clerk. My responsibilities included: billing new car deals, which included finding reconditioning that was done, sorting paper work for title department, warranty department and contracts for the runner, also entering the vehicle sale into Reynolds and Reynolds system, calculate the profit or loss and figure the commission for the payroll department; payoff flooring of new vehicles sold; assist with flooring audits; and assist the office manager with other sales orientated questions in the office. In June of 1997 I was promoted to the Executive Finance Assistant, which my responsibilities changed to: Over seeing 4 Finance Manager; co-ordinate with 7 department heads in the daily operations of the dealership; finalize the car deals for New Cars, Used Cars, West Lot and Fleet Sales Departments and prepare them for the accounting department which included checking over all paper work to verify it was complete, calculate the finance reserve, calculate the finance payroll and complete the daily Dealership Operational Control report in Excel and report to the Finance Director, General Sales Manager, General Manager, Fleet Director and Controller what the dealership status was; call on funding status on contracts daily; control Ford Motor Company Factory charge backs and get reduced; watch finance charge backs and charge back to correct finance manager when needed; and weekly reports to United Auto Corporation on Sales and Finance. I would say my greatest accomplishments while employed would be: creating a communication link between departments, creating spreadsheet showing Sales and Finance departments the penetration, profit and various other needed stats and assist in the reorganization of dealership operations. My reason for leaving was change of ownership and management, which my position was dissolved in the process. |
